Promote the Energy Conservation of Buildings and the Development of Green Buildings in Longjiang

  On April 25, the "Green Building and Energy Saving Committee of Heilongjiang Society for Urban Studies" (hereinafter referred to as the committee) working meeting was held in the passive ultra-low energy consumption office building of Sayyas. Li Ruobing, president and secretary of the Party Committee of Heilongjiang Cold Area Building Science Research Institute, Xia Yun, secretary general of Heilongjiang Society for Urban Studies and director of Green Building and Energy Saving Committee, and members of the special committee attended the meeting.

  This is the first working meeting of the special committee since its establishment. Li Ruobing, president and secretary of the Party Committee of Heilongjiang Cold Area Building Science Research Institute, was present and expressed his congratulations and support to the establishment of the special Committee, which also indicated that the special committee would play an important role in the promotion and implementation of green buildings and building energy conservation in Heilongjiang under the background of China's "2030 emission peak · 2060 carbon neutrality".

  Members of the special committee cover various units of architectural design, architectural engineering, building components, etc., and the special committee will play a synergistic role in organization and actively join forces with all units to promote the development of green buildings in Heilongjiang.

  During the meeting, each member also made a brief introduction to its own company, carried out exchanges and discussions on green building technology and building energy saving technology in the province, and formulated the work plan of the special committee in 2021.

  After the meeting, the members of the special committee visited the passive ultra-low energy green factory of Sayyas under the leadership of Sun Chunhai, chief engineer of Sayyas, and introduced the development and manufacturing process of the passive ultra-low energy green building windows of Sayyas for years to the members of the special committee in detail.

  In 2010, Sayyas began to develop exterior windows of buildings with ultra-low heat transfer coefficient, and successfully launched the first passive windows that passed the German PHI certification in 2012 - Sayyas Spring Aluminum-clad Wood Air Conditioning Window-P120. So far, more than 20 products of Sayyas have passed this certification, including doors, windows, curtain walls, etc. These products have been successfully used in nearly 100 passive ultra-low-energy green buildings in China, including demonstration passive building projects in cold areas, such as Chenneng Xishu Courtyard and Sino-German Science and Technology Town.

  To fulfill its corporate mission of "Extremely Reduced Consumption, Extremely Beautiful Life", Sayyas independently developed a passive ultra-low energy consumption green factory project many years ago. It invited German architecture firm Rongen and the Institute of Architectural Design and Research at Harbin Institute of Technology to design the factory according to passive house standards. The factory was completed in 2016 and passed the air tightness test (N50≤0.2 for the factory and N50≤0.16 for the affiliated office building, far below the national standard). The factory won the title of "world's largest passive factory" in the the Guinness Book of Records and passed the Germany PHI certification at the end of 2018. Its supporting office buildings have also been included in the "13th Five-Year" national key R&D project "near-zero energy building technology system and key technology development" near-zero energy public building demonstration project.

  In 2021, in order to fit the national "3060" dual-carbon plan, Sayyas will focus on building zero-carbon Sayyas. On the basis of controlling its own carbon emissions, it will plant trees and increase carbon sink. Sayyas will also actively carry out activities such as "Zero-carbon Youth" and "Discover Oasis" to advocate green life.

  As the executive director unit of the special committee, Sayyas will continue to perform its responsibilities and actively cooperate with the special committee to carry out academic and practical activities related to passive ultra-low energy green buildings and promote the high-quality development of buildings in the province.
