Focus on Building Carbon Neutrality to Build a New System of Green Production and Living

  From May 18th to May 19th, 2021, the 17th International Green Building and Building Energy Saving Conference and New Technology and Product Expo was held and successfully closed in Chengdu.

  The theme of this Expo is "Focus on Building Carbon Neutrality to Build a New System of Green Production and Living", which practices the concept of China's green building development and shows the achievements of China's green building development.

  With the rapid development of society, low-carbon and sustainable development has become an inevitable option.

  "By 2022, the proportion of green floor area in new urban buildings will reach 70%," according to the Notice on Issuing Action Plan for Green Building Creation issued by seven ministries including the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. This also makes the development of high-quality green buildings and sustainable urbanization face a rare historic opportunity.

  On the morning of 19th, the Forum on "Carbon Peak in Near Zero Energy Consumption Buildings and Building Sector" was successfully held jointly by the Institute of Building Environment and Energy (Environmental Energy Technology) of China Academy of Building Research and the Ultra-low Energy Buildings Branch of China Association of Building Energy Efficiency.

  This forum invited 10 industry experts to share and analyze the latest top-level design, scientific and technological achievements, planning and layout of near-zero-energy buildings and zero-carbon buildings in depth.

  Sayyas was also invited to attend this forum as the vice executive member of Ultra-low Energy Buildings Branch of China Association of Building Energy Efficiency.

  Since President Xi Jinping put forward China's "3060" dual-carbon plan in September 2020, China has accelerated the pace of ultra-low energy consumption green building development to continuously expand the actual landing area and accelerate the realization of the vision of green and healthy life.
