From May 19 to 20, the "China Urban Carbon Peak, carbon neutrality Forum" was held in Nanchang, during which the "China Urban Carbon Peak carbon neutrality Forum Joint Declaration" was issued:

One is to firmly establish, deeply practice, and effectively promote the concept of green development, and support the wave of green and low-carbon national action. To promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality as a strategic opportunity to promote profound changes in production and lifestyle and high-quality economic and social development, the concept of ecological priority and green development should be practically, accurately and scientifically integrated into all fields such as urban industrial buildings, transportation and energy; Scientifically and reasonably construct a green and low-carbon development evaluation system, and continuously strengthen the promotion of green, low-carbon, energy-saving, and environmental protection.

Second, actively and steadily promote urban carbon peak carbon neutrality, so that green development can go steadily, realistically and far. Deeply combining with one's own reality, drawing on the strengths of others, accurately positioning, adhering to strategic thinking, strengthening strategic leadership, grasping major contradictions, scientifically selecting the implementation path of key areas such as industrial construction, transportation, and energy according to local conditions, and reasonably planning the implementation timing. In areas with conditions, leading the "dual carbon" process and providing "dual carbon" samples in key industries and key fields.

The third is to innovate and create an internationally advanced green and low-carbon "park model", using the park as the core carrier to continuously promote the "dual upgrading" of urban industrial structure and energy system. Using parks as the core carrier, we will accelerate the planning and construction of new energy systems, explore and demonstrate new forms of low-carbon or zero carbon energy carriers such as green hydrogen energy, explore scientific solutions and demonstration landing for core scenarios such as zero carbon buildings, clean heating, and green transportation, and build a green and low-carbon modern industrial system with international competitiveness in response to the global climate crisis.

Fourthly, we will fully promote innovation and achievement transformation in smart energy, low-carbon, zero carbon, and negative carbon technologies, and seize the commanding heights of global low-carbon economic industrial clusters. Insist on taking innovation as the first driving force for development, firmly give play to the advantages of the new national system, select a batch of smart energy and carbon neutrality cutting-edge and disruptive technologies with broad application prospects, build an innovation base, form an innovation alliance, etc., and accelerate joint innovation and application.

The fifth is to build a park community to promote carbon peak and carbon neutrality cooperation, and form a new pattern of industry competition and cooperation with thousands of sails competing and supporting each other. Based on the characteristics of their differentiated endowments, we formulated a localized and scientific development plan in line with their own development laws, built a pushpin green low-carbon industry and technical structure for the park, built a community to promote carbon peak and carbon neutrality parks through inter city exchanges, consultation and cooperation, created a more open and transparent business environment, and created a sample group of cities to promote carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
