Guang'an will build its first "near zero carbon building"

On March 29th, the reporter learned that Guang'an City will build its first "near zero carbon building". The project mainly focuses on a convenient life experience center and a comprehensive energy service center, with an estimated total investment of 400 million yuan. After completion, it can create 200 new jobs, save electricity and water, and reduce carbon emissions. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, becoming a new landmark for green living production in Guang'an.

Near zero carbon buildings "refer to buildings that adapt to climate characteristics and site conditions, minimize energy demand for buildings through passive building design, operate fully electrified, do not use gas, and emit low levels of carbon.
