Notice on the Announcement of Low Carbon (Zero Carbon) Application Scenarios in Tianjin (2023)

Development and Reform Commission, Ecological Environment Bureau, and relevant units of each district:

In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of green and low-carbon development in various industries in Tianjin, accelerate the transformation and demonstration of green and low-carbon development in the whole society, promote the "dual carbon" strategy and practical innovation, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau organized the selection and selection of low-carbon (zero carbon) application scenarios in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Tianjin Green and Low Carbon Development Action Plan", and received a total of 113 various application cases from the city. After independent application, recommendation from various districts and relevant departments, and through expert evaluation, on-site inquiry, and on-site research review, 28 excellent scenes in 5 major fields were selected (see Annex 1). Each selected scenario unit can create the "Tianjin Low Carbon (Zero Carbon) Application Scenario (2023)" logo as needed (see Annex 2).

We hope that all regions and departments can strengthen publicity, policy innovation, and practical applications, continuously explore new models of green and low-carbon development, and create more new application scenarios. Each selected scene unit should establish a benchmark awareness, further strengthen technological innovation, and provide a demonstration model for promoting green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in our city.
