On June 29th, the second Low Carbon and Healthy Real Estate Collaborative Innovation Development Forum, organized by the Low Carbon and Healthy Real Estate Professional Committee of the China Building Energy Conservation Association and co organized by China National Offshore Enterprise Development Group Co., Ltd. and Youlv Digital Technology, was held in Beijing. With the theme of "low-carbon healthy coordinated development", the forum discussed how construction enterprises, real estate enterprises, design institutes and building materials enterprises can promote high-quality development of the construction industry under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goal, and released the industry's first carbon neutral Big data white paper.

Ni Jiangbo, Vice President of the China Building Energy Conservation Association, stated that as of the end of 2022, the accumulated energy-saving building area in China has exceeded 30.3 billion square meters, with energy-saving buildings accounting for over 64% of urban civil building area. China's construction industry has achieved milestone results in low-carbon, healthy, and high-quality development, and the real estate industry must transform towards a healthy and low-carbon direction and take the path of sustainable development.

Wang Qingqin, Vice General Manager of China Academy of Building Sciences Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Health Building Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, believes that low-carbon and health are two important characteristics of green buildings: low-carbon is the embodiment of protecting nature and sustainable development, and the foundation of green buildings; Health is the embodiment of putting people first and serving a better life, and is the bright color of green buildings. The average carbon emissions of green buildings can be reduced by more than 20%, and their health performance is also significantly improved compared to ordinary buildings. Therefore, developing green buildings is an important lever for implementing the "dual carbon" goals and the "Healthy China" strategy in the construction field.

Huang Junpeng, CEO of Youlv and Secretary General of the Low Carbon Health Real Estate Professional Committee of China Building Energy Conservation Association, shared the "Application of Big data in Building Carbon Management - Release and Interpretation of Youlv Carbon Cloud Building Carbon Neutralization and Big data White Paper", and proposed that carbon neutrality of real estate enterprises will drive the low-carbon transformation of the whole industrial chain of buildings. Enterprises can improve the "carbon business" and establish key competitive advantages in the low-carbon era through carbon inventory, participation in the development of ESG evaluation standards, control and rating of implied carbon, construction of carbon asset management system, and pilot demonstration of Zero-energy building.
