Recently, the Anhui Provincial Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development has organized the preparation of the Anhui Province "Evaluation Standards for Near Zero Energy Consumption Buildings (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)", which is the first evaluation standard for near zero energy consumption buildings in the Yangtze River Delta.

The energy efficiency rate of nearly zero energy consumption buildings is over 85%, which is an important measure to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, promote carbon peaking, and also an important carrier to improve the quality of life of residents. The draft proposed that a healthy and comfortable indoor environment is the basic premise of near zero energy consumption buildings. The air purifier cannot completely replace outdoor fresh air. Fresh air plays an irreplaceable role in improving Indoor air quality and reducing sick building syndrome.

Near zero energy consumption buildings should have good natural ventilation capabilities, providing sufficient and healthy fresh air indoors through a combination of natural and mechanical ventilation. When the outdoor air parameters are suitable for ventilation, natural ventilation can provide sufficient air to the indoor environment; When the outdoor air is not suitable for ventilation, such as high or low outdoor temperature or severe haze, the mechanical ventilation system provides sufficient and healthy fresh air to ensure good indoor air quality throughout the year.

The draft also proposes to attach importance to the quality of indoor lighting and lighting in buildings. While fully utilizing natural light resources, necessary measures should be taken to control uncomfortable glare, such as reducing or avoiding direct sunlight in the work area, and using indoor and outdoor shading facilities. For residential buildings, in order to help users better enter a sleep state and ensure a good resting environment, it is necessary to reasonably reduce physiological equivalent illumination while meeting the visual illumination required for normal activities at night.
