Recently, the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under the theme of "Green Construction for Sustainable Development", China Architecture shared its innovative achievements in green construction and low-carbon technology in the Middle East region, and discussed climate change, food security, health and other issues with representatives from government departments, international organizations, academic institutions and other sectors from 198 countries around the world, jointly shaping a "green future" action.

In the China Pavilion area of COP28 Summit, the Chinese architecture "green empowerment" theme booth attracted many visitors, especially the architectural model in the middle of the booth attracted everyone's interest.

With the theme of "Sustainable Development of construction enterprises", China Architecture shared the experience of the Phase II A project of the Ittihad Railway Project in the fields of reducing energy conservation and emission reduction, restoring the ecology of the desert hinterland, and protecting rare animals.

Middle Eastern engineer Mansour introduced ultra-low energy buildings that will have a positive impact on the environment during the entire life cycle of construction, use and maintenance. "In the face of the new industry situation and competition, we need to use new means to solve new problems, let all partners participate in the construction, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win."

In recent years, China Construction has held the "Building Technology Conference" for seven consecutive years, attracting more than 500 industry elites to discuss "green construction enables sustainable development". Furat Saeed, a professor at Khalifa University in the United Arab Emirates, said that I see the use of intelligent and automated technology and equipment can make the construction industry greener, sustainable and less costly, and drive the development of the construction industry in the direction of sustainability and environmental friendliness.

Responsible actions to help "green development"

With the theme of "Building Happiness", the first sustainable development report of China Construction Services in the Middle East region, "Sustainable Development Report of China Construction Services in the Gulf Countries" (Chinese, English, Arabic), describes the achievements made in green construction, compliance management, social responsibility and other aspects, and the vivid cases of expanding the space of happiness for local people. Ms. Habiba, co-founder of the UAE Environment Organization, said that the report provides an important reference for other businesses who want to implement the concept of sustainable development.

China Architecture and Supernature Labs of the United States jointly carried out ecological urban planning research, officially released the future sustainable city project, and worked together to create a coordinated, comprehensive and optimized space environment for multiple urban functions. In response to the call of the UAE Environment Organization (EEG), China Construction joined hands with Emirates Airlines, Dubai Police and other agencies to actively participate in local cans recycling activities, collecting nearly 3,000 cans, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 500kg, and practicing green sustainable environmental protection concepts.
