The quality of building exterior walls is not only related to the safety of people's lives and property, but also an important factor affecting building energy efficiency. In order to promote the development of ultra-low energy buildings in this city, promote the application of integrated external wall insulation technology, prevent common quality problems such as water leakage on external walls, and avoid incidents of material detachment of external wall insulation, waterproof, and decorative layers, The Municipal Housing and Urban Rural Construction Management Commission has issued the "Technical Standards for the Application of External Wall Insulation Integrated System (Prefabricated Concrete Reverse Insulation External Wall)" DG/TJ08-2433A-2023 and the "Technical Standards for the Application of External Wall Insulation Integrated System (Cast-in-place Concrete Insulation External Wall)" DG/TJ08-2433B-2023, which will be implemented from October 1, 2023. This standard specifies the performance indicators of the integrated external wall insulation system, as well as technical requirements for design, production, construction, and quality acceptance. It standardizes the engineering application of the integrated external wall insulation system and will provide technical support for the development of low-carbon buildings in this city.

About 130 officials from relevant departments of the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban Rural Development Management Commission, the Municipal Market Management Station, the Municipal Safety and Quality Supervision Station, the Municipal Survey and Design Management Center, various district construction management departments, and related enterprises such as construction, design, construction, and testing attended the meeting.
