The national standard "Green building evaluation Standard" has been partially revised through expert review

On September 19, the local revision examination meeting of the national standard "Green Building Evaluation Standard" GB/T 50378-2019 (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard") was successfully held.  Wang Qingqin, deputy general manager of China Construction Research Institute, and a total of 53 members of the standard partial revision preparation group attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Wang Qingqin delivered a speech on behalf of the editor-in-chief unit, thanking the competent authorities and review experts for their attention and support to the "Standard", and thanking the preparation team for its long-term efforts and efforts. He pointed out that the partial revision of the "standard" has been widely concerned by the industry and society, and the revised provisions are of great significance to guide the development of green buildings and serve the people's better life.

Yang Guoqiang fully affirmed the achievements of this partial revision, and put forward three requirements: First, we should grasp the standard positioning, drive demonstration through evaluation, strengthen the integration with policies and systems, and promote the development of high-star green buildings; Second, we must adhere to performance orientation, with the goal of improving the quality of people's lives, pay attention to user feelings in the setting of indicators, and guide the innovation and development of technical measures; The third is to solve the problem for the purpose of coordinating mandatory norms, strengthening carbon emission reduction performance, and solving the problems generated in the implementation process of the previous version. Jiang Bing thanked the experts and colleagues for their consistent support for the standardization work, and stressed that the "standard" should promote scientific and technological innovation and industrial development, promote green and low-carbon transformation, strengthen the construction of green building standards system in the future, and combine star-rated green buildings with the construction of "good houses".

 The expert group listened to the revised work report of the "Standard", discussed and reviewed the content of the "Standard" article by article, and agreed that the "Standard" plays an important role in improving the quality of construction, promoting the development of green buildings, helping to achieve the goal of "double carbon", and the technical content is scientific and reasonable, operability and applicability, reaching the international leading level.

This partial revision of the "Standard" effectively strengthens the carbon reduction goal of the whole life cycle of green buildings, and connects the current mandatory construction norms and relevant standards. The compilation team will further modify and improve the submitted draft according to the review opinions, and promote the approval and release of the Standard as soon as possible.
