The reporter learned from the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Housing and Construction yesterday that the "Technical Guidelines for the implementation of zero carbon Buildings in Yantai City" and "Guidelines for the evaluation of zero carbon buildings in Yantai City" were officially promulgated, and detailed provisions were made on various technical standards for zero carbon buildings from the full life cycle of seven major types of buildings such as residential, office and hotel buildings. The building energy consumption level is required to be reduced by more than 75% compared with the national standard, and the renewable energy utilization rate of the body is ≥30%. In the future, Yantai will form a zero-carbon building implementation technology route based on near-zero energy consumption buildings, with building single energy storage technology as the core, and with efficient and energy-saving electromechanical operation system as the means.

As a key carrier to achieve the goal of "double carbon", in recent years, zero-carbon buildings have become the development trend of future buildings because of their ultra-low energy consumption and excellent quality, and promoting building energy conservation towards zero energy consumption has become an important way to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality". The Guidelines give full consideration to the climate characteristics, renewable energy utilization conditions, building characteristics, cultural habits and other factors in Yantai, and make full use of natural lighting, natural ventilation and thermal insulation of the envelope structure to reduce the energy demand of buildings.

In order to make zero-carbon buildings "grounded", the "Guidelines" put forward a number of construction methods according to local conditions. The building faces north-south, and the main entrance avoids the prevailing wind direction in winter. The room with larger depth is equipped with lighting atrium, lighting shaft and light guide pipe to improve lighting effect. The opening of the door and window is conducive to natural ventilation, which can take away the indoor waste heat in the transition season and summer. Priority is given to the integrated design of constructed solar energy and photovoltaic light-thermal buildings, integrating photovoltaic and light-thermal components into building components, and applying them to roofing, lighting roof, exterior window shade, canopy and other parts.
