Recently, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, issued the Special Plan for the development of green buildings in Zhongshan City (2022-2035).

The special plan consists of 6 chapters and 22 articles, and makes detailed plans in general principles, development positioning and objectives, key tasks, planning zones and requirements, and implementation guarantees.

In the field of photovoltaic buildings, Zhongshan City will make full use of the roofs, facades or other suitable sites of buildings such as industrial parks, enterprise factories, logistics and warehousing bases, public buildings, transportation facilities and residential buildings, actively carry out the construction of photovoltaic projects, vigorously promote the integration of photovoltaic buildings (BIPV), and focus on promoting the large-scale layout of photovoltaic projects in industrial parks. Guide large enterprise groups to actively carry out the construction of photovoltaic projects, and support state-owned enterprises to build large-scale photovoltaic projects. At the same time, strengthen policy guidance and support, establish a mechanism for cultivating key enterprises in the photovoltaic industry, and strive to form a group of leading enterprises in photovoltaic manufacturing and operation and maintenance.

In terms of prefabricated buildings, Zhongshan City will improve the standardization level of prefabricated building prefabricated parts, research and introduce technical standards for prefabricated decoration, and promote the development of prefabricated decoration; Explore the integration and innovative application of building information modeling (BIM), 5G, Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain and other new technologies in the whole construction process, promote the deep integration and development of green building technology with prefabricated building technology and intelligent construction, implement the general contracting mode in prefabricated building projects, and improve the assembly construction level. By the end of 2025, the city's prefabricated buildings accounted for more than 35% of the new construction area.

In the application of green building materials, Zhongshan City will explore the promotion and application mode of green building materials, establish a supervision and management system mechanism for the whole process of application of green building materials pilot project, build a pilot demonstration project of green building materials application, strengthen demonstration and leadership, gradually establish a long-term mechanism for the development of green building materials, promote the green development of local green building materials enterprises, and increase engineering application. It is suggested that the government should take the lead in adopting green building materials in investment projects. Among them, new civil buildings in cities and towns with government investment or government investment are recommended to comprehensively promote the use of green building materials, and the application proportion of green building materials in star-rated green building projects is not less than 30%.
