The relevant person in charge of the Science, technology and industrialization development center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said in the forum that ultra-low-energy buildings have become an important development direction of the construction of "good houses" at home and abroad, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will promote the large-scale development of ultra-low-energy buildings and help the construction of "good houses".

In recent years, ultra-low energy consumption has become an important factor in why "good houses" are "good". It is understood that ultra-low energy consumption buildings refer to buildings that can adapt to climate characteristics and natural conditions, significantly reduce building energy demand through technical means, greatly improve the efficiency of energy equipment and systems, make full use of renewable energy, and provide a more comfortable indoor environment with less energy consumption.

Nowadays, China's housing development has changed from a total shortage to a structural supply shortage, and has entered a development period of structural optimization and quality improvement. Ding Hongtao, director of the Science, technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, introduced that by the end of 2022, China's ultra-low energy consumption building area under construction and completed has exceeded 30 million square meters, and the annual energy saving capacity has reached 300,000 tons of standard coal. In addition, China has built a number of ultra-low energy consumption building demonstration projects such as Xiongan Civic Center, Gaobeidian Train New City, Datong Future Energy Museum, Qingdao Passive Room Experience Center, and achieved good demonstration benefits.

While the development of ultra-low energy consumption buildings has achieved fruitful results, some problems have also been exposed. Ding Hongtao said that some key parts such as the waterproof breathable (insulation) film required for the airtight system also need to rely on imports; There is still a gap between the quality and performance of some domestic parts and the international advanced level. Leading enterprises have problems such as small number, small scale, insufficient research and development and integration capabilities.

In this regard, he suggested that the relevant departments can organize scientific research units and leading enterprises to carry out technical research and forward-looking technology research around polymer membrane materials, sealing materials, and fresh air integrated machines, and steadily improve product quality; In addition, it can also improve product production capacity and market supply capacity by cultivating a number of ultra-low energy consumption building industry bases, and drive the transformation and upgrading of the traditional building materials industry.

"Industry, transport and buildings are the top three sectors for carbon emissions." Gong Haiguang, director of the Beijing Building Energy Conservation Research and Development Center and senior engineer, said that because of this, China urgently needs to fully apply energy-saving technology to the living environment, and realize the beautiful regeneration of the city with advanced building energy conservation technology.

At the forum, Li Zuoyang, secretary of the Urban renewal construction operation Management Department of Beijing Zhugong Group, also delivered a keynote speech of "Building green good houses for the people to live in peace and promote urban renewal", and he interpreted the significance of building "good houses" from the construction level. He said that at present, the SUMP Group has built many types of green model projects such as Enjili Community, Huizhongli Community, Lijing Changan, Sump such as courtyard. In the next step, the group will actively expand the urban renewal market, and vigorously promote various types of renewal businesses such as old factories, old and inefficient buildings in inefficient industrial parks, traditional commercial facilities, dilapidated buildings, and old residential areas.

It is reported that the forum, sponsored by the Beijing Urban Construction Research and Development Promotion Association, aims to create a broad platform for government enterprises and experts to share resources.
