Hebei leads the country in passive ultra-low energy building area

A few days ago, the Hebei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development notified the province's building energy conservation, green building and prefabricated building management. From January to November 2023, green buildings accounted for 99.88% of the completed buildings in cities and towns in the province, and star-rated green buildings accounted for 43.51%, which is the first echelon in the country; The newly started passive ultra-low energy consumption buildings were 201.2 million square meters, and the annual task of 1.95 million square meters was completed ahead of schedule, and 10 million square meters had been built, and the accumulated construction area remained the country's leading.

The relevant person in charge of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hebei Province introduced that the "green" of green buildings does not refer to three-dimensional greening in the general sense, but refers to harmless to the environment. Green buildings save resources, protect the environment, reduce pollution, provide people with healthy, applicable and efficient use of space, and are high-quality buildings that maximize the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

In the past two years, all parts of Hebei Province have continued to carry out green building creation actions, forming a work promotion mechanism and supervision system based on regulations, planning as the guidance and policy as the guarantee. As of the end of November 2023, the province's green finance to support green buildings has signed 32 projects, a total of 43.26 billion yuan of loans.

In terms of building energy conservation, all parts of Hebei Province, in accordance with the "General Code for Building Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Utilization", fully implement the energy conservation standards of 75% of new urban residential buildings and 72% of public buildings, strengthen the closed management of the whole process of design, construction and acceptance, and increase supervision and inspection. Vigorously develop passive ultra-low energy consumption buildings. Baoding City has incorporated the development of passive ultra-low energy building industry into the key industrial system, and through policy support, optimized layout, and built platforms, the project construction area has ranked first in the province for three consecutive years. In accordance with the ultra-low energy consumption and energy saving standards of residential and public buildings in Hebei Province, pilot construction projects are actively planned in all localities.

In addition, all localities implement the overall requirements of new building industrialization to drive the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, comprehensively promote the construction of the design, construction and evaluation system, guide the industrial base to improve quality and efficiency, and promote the implementation of prefabricated building projects. From January to November 2023, 27.33 million square meters of new prefabricated buildings were started in the province, accounting for 35.35% of the newly started construction area.
