Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other ten departments jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for the high-quality development of Green Building Materials Industry" to guide the high-quality development of green building materials industry in the next three years or even a longer period of time to provide strong support for accelerating the new industrialization.

The implementation plan is clear, the development of green building materials should adhere to the principle of "overall promotion, two-wheel drive, innovation and leadership", by 2026, the annual operating income of green building materials will exceed 300 billion yuan, and the average annual growth rate of more than 10% from 2024 to 2026. Cultivate more than 30 characteristic industrial clusters, build more than 50 demonstration projects for the application of green building materials, and implement government procurement policies in at least 100 cities.

The implementation plan focuses on the four dimensions of green building materials production, products, applications and support, and puts forward the concept of "promoting production transformation and enhancing the internal strength of the industry; Implement the "three products" (increase variety, improve quality, create brand) action to enhance the industrial influence; Accelerate application expansion and enhance industrial growth; The four key tasks of consolidating the foundation of the industry and enhancing the support of the industry have been clarified from the three aspects of "strengthening organization and coordination, improving policy support, and increasing publicity and promotion".

Among them, in promoting the transformation of production, accelerating the greening of the production process, strengthening comprehensive measures such as process upgrading, energy substitution, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and resource recycling, implementing technological transformation, optimizing the energy use structure, promoting cleaner production, and developing a circular economy. Promote the coordination of industrial development, accelerate the cultivation of green building materials industry clusters, establish green building materials parks with coupled development, and cultivate comprehensive green building materials enterprises with strong core competitiveness and great driving role.

In terms of accelerating the application and expansion, promote the application of construction projects, strengthen the selection requirements of green building materials in green buildings, and expand the scope of government procurement to support green building materials to promote the improvement of building quality. Deepen green building materials to the countryside, explore the transformation from "green building materials products" to "green building materials system solution supplier + characteristic rural construction service provider" to the countryside. Guide green consumption, explore new models of integrated decoration and decoration services, encourage e-commerce platforms to set up a special area for green building materials products, and encourage the implementation of green decoration.
