Recently, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and other four departments jointly issued the "Notice on Promoting Green Finance to Support the Coordinated Development of Green Building Industry" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), making it clear that green finance should play a supporting role in green building industry projects. We will provide credit support and insurance support to green building industries such as star-rated green buildings, ultra-low energy consumption buildings, prefabricated buildings, renewable energy applications in buildings, energy conservation and green transformation of existing buildings, and improve the quality of green and low-carbon development of urban and rural construction.

The "Notice" pointed out that it is necessary to establish a financing mechanism for green finance to promote the development of green building industry, and initially form a development pattern of mutual support and coordination between green finance and green building industry, covering green financial services that can be enjoyed by every node of the whole industrial chain from scientific research, green building materials production and sales, and real estate construction.

In terms of credit business, we will give key support to all types of projects that meet the scope of support, and promote the stable and steady decline of enterprises' comprehensive financing costs. Increase the credit support for qualified green building industry projects, optimize the credit approval process, and give differentiated support in terms of interest rates and terms.

In the insurance business, we will provide comprehensive insurance services for construction projects that meet the requirements, and take measures such as project restoration and monetary compensation to protect the implementation effect of the project and the legitimate rights and interests of the participating parties in view of the deviations between the implementation evaluation and the implementation results of the project.

It is understood that at present, Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places have achieved remarkable results in exploring green finance to support the development of green building industry. In the next step, Guangxi will learn from the promotion experience of the leading regions, collect a list of enterprises related to the green building industry for the society, and continue to strengthen the support of financial service institutions for the development of the green building industry.
