The development zone not only adopts green energy-saving design in the new buildings, but also carries out ecological energy-saving transformation in the completed public buildings. The first phase of the New Hailian photovoltaic power generation project, which was completed last year, has a total installed capacity of 2.64MW, and a total of 4896 monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules have been installed, distributed on the roofs of Huada Science Park and Sino-German Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Park. The project adopts the green electricity mode of "self-use, surplus electricity online", and the average annual power generation is about 2.7 million KWH, which is equivalent to saving about 850 tons of standard coal per year and reducing about 2300 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The construction and operation of the project can improve the power structure of the system and reduce air pollution.


As one of the green buildings, prefabricated buildings are also being vigorously promoted. The project of education training and living supporting area in the core area of China Medicine Port adopts the construction mode of passive energy saving and active optimization, and is currently being constructed in accordance with the requirements of two-star green building and prefabricated building. The exterior wall of the building is a unit curtain wall, the inner wall is made of prefabricated wall panels, and the floor panel is made of laminated panels, and the assembly engineering application exceeds 45%. The use of assembly process can shorten the construction period, save resources and reduce pollution to the greatest extent. The promotion and application of prefabricated buildings cannot be separated from the supporting development of the construction industry. At present, the district has built 3 construction industry supporting projects, 10 precast concrete components, steel structure components production lines, with a total annual capacity of 163,000 tons, laying a solid foundation for the modernization of the district's construction industry.


According to the relevant person in charge of the Housing and Construction Bureau of the Development Zone, at present, the new civil buildings and public buildings in the district fully implement the green building energy-saving design standards. According to statistics, the completed area of green buildings and prefabricated buildings in 2022 is about 760,000 square meters, and the newly started green buildings and prefabricated buildings in 2023 are about 850,000 square meters. "In order to vigorously develop green buildings, the development zone housing and construction departments, examination and approval departments strictly check the examination and approval of each link, in the project planning and application stage, the construction drawing review stage, the construction permit examination and approval process, the commercial housing pre-sale stage are strictly implemented the relevant national and provincial green building regulations and standards, to ensure that the building energy efficiency policies are truly implemented."
